Hey Sian,
I've just come back from Pefkohori and stayed at the Philoxenia Apts. We ended up having a studio for 4 instead of 2 which was good! The flats are nice - basic and clean. no a/c but we did not find it too bad but u can hire fans if you wish. We were expecting a bit more in the kitchen though - there were only 2 hobs and a fridge! no oven or microwave. The bathroom was ok. The pool is nice and u have the use of the ther 2 pools and whirlpool at the Hotel just down the street. The bar at the apts is ok except they played the music really loud sometimes and our flat was right above the bar! It's only about 2 minutes walk from the beach. Go the Capri - a pizza restaurant just past the Shell garage on the main street. Massive yummy pizzas at cheap prices. Beware- the family ones r HUGE! and go to the Barn Pub where they have an english barman called Ian - on the beach front - they have gd music and have yummy cocktails! If you like dancing/clubbing, go to the No No club - right opposite the appts on the main street. We liked Privilege (very new large open air disco with lovely garden and the comfiest sofas) - just outside Kalithea (you can easily get there by bus from the main street in Pefkohori). Definately recommended.
