Subject: Hanioti in June & bugs!Message:
Hi,
I'm going to Hanioti at the start of June with my girlfriend and, although it might sound like a silly question, would like to know if we need to worry about mosquitos?! Also, is anyone else going out on the 11th, not sure where we're staying yet!

Hi, i went to Greece last year and although i went in July, Mosquitoes are a bugger. Best thing to do is to get one of those plug in killer things as this appears to be the only way to stop them from eating you.

We are going to Hanioti on June 14th, I was in Kefalonia last year and there were bugs but like the previous person that the plug in thingy worked pretty well at keeping the little blighters away!!

Im staying at a Hotel called BlueSky that shares Hotel Angelo pool. Know nothing at all about blue sky so any info appreciated!

Don't know anything about the Blue Sky i'm afraid (sounds nice though!)..and we've got a much more respectable 14.30 flight - phew! Have a cool time, maybe see you there!! - Chris (who will be armed with mosquito 'stuff')

Hello
Luckily we are flying to Halkidiki at the more respectable time of 5.00pm (I think its the first time I have ever flown at a civilised hour!) We are staying at the Dionssys studios (I think I have spelt that wrong!!)
Its 4 weeks today and I am counting!!!

No night clubs either eh?! Looks like the local taxi service will get well used then!

Stayed right next door to the Angelo apts. I dont know what it is like inside but it has a large complex and a swimming pool. Didnt use the swimming pool but it looked ok! Angelo has a nightclub but when I went in the middle of June it was pretty much deserted, altho in August it will prob be livelier. Lots of bars in Hanioti open till quite late most nights, busier at weekend. They are mostly drinking bars (cocktails etc) rather than discos. There is a nightclub on the main road though and a club called No No's 40 mins walk away in Pefkohori. Hotels (Blue Sky and Dionysos) can get lively later at night!
