The fire was bad, but the roadside is now clear of ,paper litter, plastic bottles and polythene bags, out of the dark comes forth light!

Hi Phil, I agree it was one of the first things I noticed whilst taking the photos that all the rubbish was gone. Hopefully it will stay that way.

I've shown the photos to my mother,she was born in Thessaloniki, that was the first thing she noticed, the second was the fire had burnt so quickly that the trees are scorched but not completely burnt,some still have green tops.I do feel sorry for all the' bees'that were in hives in the woods, they have probably suffered badly.
